The seven counting events take place between March (Junior Spring Meeting) and September (Junior Autumn Meeting) with the Junior County Championship and 4 club Junior Opens sandwished in between.
A player's best 5 scores from the 7 available events will determine his position in the respective OoM. If an event is cancelled, then the Junior Committee reserve the right to reduce the number of counting scores (e.g., 4 from 6).
For the U18 and U16 Scratch OoMs a Handicap Index of 18.4 or less will be necessary to participate. For the U16 Handicap OoM it will be necessary for juniors to complete a gross score at the respective events for this to be included.
The pandemic affected Junior Order of Merit winners received their prizes at West Cornwall during the presentation for the Junior Maxam Cup at the end of January 2022.
Joint winners of the U18 OoM were Ethan Tempest (West Cornwall) and Archie Fox (Falmouth). The two could not be split in the results from the 6 events staged and thus shared the spoils.
Fox though was outright winner of the U16 Scratch OoM just pipping fellow clubmate and CGU Junior Player of the Year Isaac D'Bue by two points.
The U16 Handicap OoM was won by James Tucknott (West Cornwall) who had an 8 point margin over runner up Harry Drewett (Falmouth)
With the final counting event having taken place at Mullion on Sunday 2nd September the winners of the respective Junior Orders of Merit have been identified. Liam Wilson (Trevose) claims top honours in both the U18 and U16 Scratch OoMs whilst Jack Kevern (West Cornwall) tops the U16 Handcap OoM.
In the U18 Scratch Wilson (above with CGU Juniors Vice President Simon Ferguson-Smith) finished on 80.00 as comfortable winner from Kevern (67.50), with Thomas Stephens (Trevose) third on 63.00. Carlyon Bay's Alec Nile finished fourth on 58.00.

The U16 handicap OoM was the closest affair with Kevern amassing 57.50 just two points ahead of a charging Will Price (Perranporth) on 55.50. Matthew Hooper (Truro) was third on 52.50 with Nile fourth on 51.00.

At the conclusion of the CGU Junior Maxam Cup competition at St Austell on 26th October 2018, the prizes were presented for the 2018 CGU Junior Orders of Merit season.
St Austell's Ewan Warren completed a clean sweep taking the top prize in each of the categories winning the U18 Scratch OoM, the U16 Scratch OoM and the U16 Handicap OoM. Liam Wilson (Truro) was the runner up in the former two categories and Ryan Gregory (St Mellion) was the runner up in the U16 Handicap OoM. CGU Juniors President Alan Lund presented Warren and Wilson with their prizes. It has been a good season for Warren. He was part of the Cornwall SWCGA Boys Championship winning team in July which then travelled to the English Boys County Finals the next month and he also won the CGU Depot Cup awarded for the best gross round in the Champion of Champions event staged in September. Warren was pushed all the way by Wilson as is evidenced in the OoM's narrow winning margins.
