OPEN STROKE PLAY TOURNAMENT
72 Hole Medal Play
Open to both Junior Boys and Girls.
The lowest score in the first round will qualify for the Daily Telegraph Junior Golf Championship.
All competitors will play the first 36 holes on Thursday 24th April 2025.
The leading 40 competitors (and all tying for 40th place) will play the final 36 holes on Friday 25th April 2025.
ELIGIBILIY FOR ENTRY
1.) Entries are invited from players with amateur status who are under the age of 18 years at 00.00 hours on 1st January 2025, with a handicap index not exceeding 1.0. All players who wish to enter must have returned at least 5 Acceptable Scores in the 12 months prior to the closing date for entry. Overseas entries will only be accepted when the player’s handicap has been verified by the World Handicapping System (WHS). An entry may be refused if a handicap record (most recent 20 scores) contains more than four General Play scores and the difference between their Competition Score differential and the General Play differential is more than 2 strokes.
2.) Entries will be limited to 72 players. In the event of applications exceeding this number, entries for the higher handicap index competitors shall be decided by ballot, which shall take place immediately after the closing date for entries.
3.) The CLOSING DATE IS 12.00 NOON, Wednesday 27th March 2025.
