St Enodoc Golf Club attended the 2026 England Golf Awards at the Manchester Deansgate Hotel on Tuesday 3rd March, after being shortlisted in the Tournament Venue of the Year category.
The England Golf Awards celebrate all that’s great about the game we love – from volunteers to elite performers, clubs to counties, juniors to lifetime achievers.
St Enodoc hosted the 2025 England Golf Men's County Finals and were up against Luffenham Heath Golf Club, who hosted the Carris Trophy and Gerrard's Cross Golf Club, hosts of the England Golf Women's Seniors Strokeplay Championships.
It was Luffenham Heath Golf Club that won the England Golf Tournament Venue of the Year after an exceptionally well run Carris Trophy Championships.
Even though it wasn't the result the club were looking for on the night, it is a fantastic achievement for St Enodoc to be shortlished in the final three in the England Golf Awards, especially with over 70 Championship venues used annually by England Golf for their national tournaments.
Congratulations to St Enodoc and all of the staff and volunteers who were involved with the England Golf Men's County Finals last October.
