Cornwall Men's Team named for Royal Navy match

Cornwall Golf Men's Team Captain Adam Bridgewater has named his Cornwall team to face the Royal Navy at Perranporth Golf Club on Saturday 14th March 2026.

Bridgewater has named a mixture of experience and youth in this annual early season fixture as he sets out the teams plans for this upcoming season.

There is a County Men's debut for Jason Friend (China Fleet), who had an excellent 2025 season with winning the Cornwall Men's U21 Championships, winning the Maxam Cup individual competition with his foursomes partner David Sleat and was crowned China Fleet Men's Club Champion. Friend is joined in the team by Cornwall Boys U18 Captain Tiernan Wallwork (Tehidy Park) and Kieran Dixon (St Mellion), who made his county debut in 2025 with some Channel League games at the end of last season
