Bowood Park Golf Club's Director of Golf Max Stockwell has been appointed the new Director of Communications for Cornwall Golf, subject to unification of the CGU and CLCGA.
On Wednesday 12th November 2025, the Cornwall Ladies Golf Association voting unanimously in favour of resolutions dissolving the CLCGA, to form a new company (Cornwall Golf Ltd), and transferring assets from the CLCGA to the new company. The meeting also approved an increase in the affiliation fee for 2026 to £15.
The Cornwall Golf Union's EGM is being held on Thursday 27th November at Lanhydrock Golf Club, and subject to the vote on dissolution of the Cornwall Golf Union and necessary associated actions, with effect from 28th February 2026, the new organisation Cornwall Golf Ltd will be launched on 1st March 2026.
