Caroline Hume-Kendall Appointed Chair of Cornwall Golf

Cornwall Ladies County Golf Association President Nikki Hodge and Cornwall Golf Union President Martin Edwards have today released this statement:

"Following a thorough and professional recruitment process by the Nominations Committee – consisting of Martin Edwards (President of CGU); Nikki Hodge (President of CLCGA); Chris Pountney (Secretary of CGU) and Carole Waights (Chair of Unification Working Group) – we are pleased to announce that Caroline Hume-Kendall will assume the role of Chair of Cornwall Golf Ltd (subject to unification of the CGU and CLCGA and ratification at the 1st AGM in March 2026)".

Caroline, 56, a single figure golfer, is a member at St Enodoc GC and served as the first female Club Captain there from 2023 until recently. She is a qualified personal trainer, describing her defining moment as climbing the Matterhorn in 2008. Aside from this she has interests in sport generally as well as beekeeping and gardening.
