SWCGA Boys Championship Team Named
Cornwall's Perranporth Golf Club is hosting the SWCGA Boys Championship on Thursday 10th July 2025
This event sees 8 man county teams from around the region take part in a 36 hole strokeplay event with the winners qualifying for the England Golf Boys County Finals to be held at Elsham GC, Lincs in late August. Of the 8 man teams 6 players are nominated and from these the best 5 individual scores from each round are taken to create a team aggregate total.
Cornwall U18 Manager Mark Wallwork has named the Cornwall Boys team for this event. They are: Oban Webber (St Mellion), Tiernan Wallwork (Tehidy Park), Joab Atkins (Trethorne), Alfie Chapman (St Enodoc), Alex Dawson (Perranporth), Harry Willmott. Heath Coombes and Tommy Miller (all Newquay).
