SW Week 2025 Day 4 A Heavy Defeat to Devon
Well it was another poor day for the Cornwall Men's team as they went down to an 11.5 - 2.5 defeat at the hands of neighbouring Devon today at Cumberwell Park, Wilts.
The 8 morning singles delivered just two halves for the Duchy through Matt Richards and Billy Downing, and needing a clean afternoon sweep to gain just an overall draw the team did not deliver. Only Richards and partner Tom Stephens were able to produce a win (2&1).
The only upside for Cornwall is currently being third in the SW Week matchplay table
