Junior Tour 2025 Sponsored by Jewson - Applications & Date Change
The Cornwall Golf Union is delighted to announce the 2025 Junior Tour will see generous sponsorship from Jewson.
Jewson is one of the largest chains of British general builders' merchants, selling to small and medium building contractors. The chain comprises around 500 branches located all across Great Britain and we are very grateful to Gareth May for their kind and generous sponsorship.
There will be some changes to the Tour for 2025. The tour is seeking to enhance its offering by looking to attract the better junior golfers in the county to play in the competitions. The 0-28 handicap competitors will now play 18 holes, with a scratch prize on offer on each round and an overall order of merit for each of the four categories. Scratch, 0-28, 29-54 and Golf Access.
In addition to the scratch prize, prizes will be awarded for positions 1-2-3 in each of the other categories, with a new points scoring system in place (15-12-10 and then 9-1)
Entries can be paid for in advance or within 7 days of the competition date. Details of payments etc are on the application forms. Just to confirm £15.00 entry for 18 holes and £10.00 for 9 holes.
This is a great opportunity for junior golfers in the county to develop their game and get used to playing competitive events.
