Perranporth in Running for National Award
Congratulations to Perranporth who have been shortlisted with 5 other English clubs in the category of Golf Course of the Year . The club's incredible James Braid layout has been nominated among the best courses in the country as a finalist for the Golf Course of the Year. Almost completely unaltered from the original layout it is a wonderful example of the master's work.
Regularly ranked inside the Britain's Top 50 courses, the combination of stunning links amidst towering sand dunes on Atlantic coast makes Perranporth one of the must play courses in our county and region.
The prize is on offer through Golf Course Awards a multi-category awards programme, recognising outstanding golf courses from across Great Britain & Ireland. The Awards will connect golf courses with consumers, influencers and brands, delivering an extensive promotional campaign in the lead up to the annual Winners' Ceremony.
A prestigious GCA Judging Academy will be drawn from across the golfing universe, including: Golf course architects, Professional golfers, Golfing pundits, Leading journalists and Amateur enthusiasts.
The awards conclude with a ceremony, to be held at the top of The Shard, London on 5th December 2024.
