Women's Team
Cornwall Golf Women’s Team is dedicated to competing at the highest level while proudly representing the county with professionalism and pride. We are committed to developing a strong, united squad that blends experienced players with rising talent.
Through teamwork, preparation, and a shared drive to improve, we aim to achieve success in county competitions and continue raising our standards each season. Above all, we promote a positive, supportive environment where players can thrive and perform at their best.
Our Women’s Captain is Pauline Clifton who is ably supported by Vice Captain, Sam Peach. Pauline has responsibility for the 1st Team aided by team coach, Sammie Horton-Giles. Sam looks after the 2nd Team who are coached by Emily Toy.
All of the teams during the 2025 SW Inter-County Match Week
Our Women’s 1st Team aims for success at the Inter County Match Week against Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. This year's Championships are being held at Yeovil Golf Club between 5th – 8th July 2026.
The format for each match is 2 foursomes matches and 3 singles and a cumulative points total over the five matches crowns the South West Match Week Women’s Champions and the winners progress onto representing the South West Counties at the England Golf National Finals.
