Men's County Week
County Week 2026 - THE POINT at POLZEATH
The Cornwall Golf Men's County Championship Week 2026 will take place at The Point at Polzeath GC from Sunday 10th to Saturday 16th May 2026 and we are very much looking forward to staging the week there for the first time.
As usual the week sees a number of the customary competitions taking place and entries are pouring in!
Sunday 10th - Royal Cornwall Goblets - Foursomes stableford
Monday 11th - Seniors and Founders Cups. Open to Seniors over the age of 55 on the day of the competition. The Founders Cup is open to all. Both are stablefords.
Tuesday 12th - Royal Cornwall Challenge Cup - Pairs Betterball stableford
Wednesday 13th - the traditional 36-hole qualifier for the Amateur Championship. Limited to 72 players as we look for the top 32 to go through to match play stages.
Thursday 14th - Top 32 in the Amateur Championship become the last 16 and then the last 8. Also taking place is the Lawrance Cup individual stableford
Friday 15th - The last 8 become 4 and then 2 in the Amateur Championship. Also taking place is the Western Morning News Challenge Cup - a 3-man team with two scores to count.
Saturday 16th - The Amateur Championship Final will be contested over 36 holes. Also taking place will be the semi-finals and finals of the A & B Team Club Championship. The prizegiving for all the week's events will take place upon conclusion.
Entries for the Monday to Friday competitions can now be made online via the website.
