Women's Scratch Pairs Matchplay Trophy 2026 Rules

Competition to be known as the Scratch Pairs Matchplay Trophy with a format to be decided by

Cornwall Golf (for 2026 it will be foursomes). Open to women with a maximum Handicap Index of 9.9

Eligibility shall be as defined in paragraph 2 of the General Terms of Competition.

All rounds, except the final which will be played on a neutral venue as arranged by Cornwall Golf, will

be drawn on a home/away basis with a redraw after each completed round. Each pair shall have an

equal responsibility to contact their opponents to arrange the match. Losing pairs from the first round

will go through to the plate competition.

Matches to be played to a conclusion over 18 holes with extra holes if necessary.

The winner of each match must notify the Cornwall Golf Operations Manager of the result as soon as

possible after the match is played.
