Boys Under 18 Team
The Cornwall Boys U18 Team are represented in a number of competitive matches and Championships throughout the season.
The aim of Junior Golf in Cornwall is to combine competitive excellence with strong team spirit, creating an environment where players support one another and continue to develop their game.
The Boys Under 18 Team is managed by Team Manager Mark Wallwork, who is assisted by Steve Chapman.
The Boys U18s play in the annual Roy Greenaway Trophy, with matches against Devon, Dorset and Somerset, consisting of 5 matches 18 holes foursomes and 10 matches 18 holes of singles.
The main event in the Boys U18 calendar is the South West Boys Championships, which is 36 holes of medal play, with the top 5 scores from the morning and afternoon rounds resulting in a combined total. The winning county then progresses onto represent the South West Counties in the England Golf Junior County Finals in August.
The 2026 Boys U18 South West Championships is being held at Weston-super-Mare on 9th July 2026. Find out more information about the SW Boys Championships here.
